Welcome to ACERT

The Adult Centre for Employment Readiness and Training (ACERT) of the Regina and District Food Bank is a member of the Community Services Village. The ACERT provides people with programs and support services that focus on the development and application of personal life skills and essential employment skills. By striving to provide a healthy environment that is both welcoming and nurturing, the ACERT makes learning safe and fun. An array of services and partnerships that span from infant to adult emphasizes the ACERT’s philosophy that “together is better.” The ACERT offers a variety of programs, in partnership with Federal, Provincial and City of Regina Government Departments, the Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region, other non profit agencies and Community Based Organizations, The First Nations University of Canada, The University of Regina, SIAST, Regina Public Libraries and with private sector businesses who support the need to assist people in their desire to become full contributing members of the community.
