REGINA, SK – When your neighbour is struggling to put food on the table, you help. That's the spirit behind the Mosaic Million Meal Challenge, now in its sixth year.
Starting today and running through November 7, the Regina Food Bank and The Mosaic Company are bringing the community together once again to make sure no one in Regina goes hungry.
The results speak for themselves: over five years, Regina has rallied to provide more than 6.2 million meals to people facing tough times. And Mosaic is stepping up again this year, matching every donation dollar-for-dollar up to $75,000.
“At Mosaic, our mission is to help the world grow the food it needs and we are proud to stand alongside the Regina Food Bank once again to champion the Mosaic Million Meal Challenge this year. Every day, Saskatchewan potash is mined to help farmers grow crops around the world. But our partnership with the Regina Food Bank shows our commitment to fighting food insecurity here at home, too. This is more than just another year’s challenge – it’s hope to ensure families have access to the food they need. We look forward to reaching our ambitious goals again this year.” — Marnel Jones, Director of Public Affairs and Government Relations for The Mosaic Company Canada.

The reality is hard to ignore. Groceries cost more. Rent keeps climbing. And food banks across Saskatchewan are seeing people walk through their doors who never imagined they'd need help. Parents choosing between paying bills and feeding their kids, seniors stretching fixed incomes, working families who just can't make ends meet.
"This campaign means everything to us. Every fall, we watch our community show up for each other. This isn't about statistics. It's about real people - your coworkers, your kids' classmates, families in your neighbourhood. With more people needing help than ever before, that support matters now more than ever." – John Bailey, CEO of the Regina Food Bank

Your donation keeps the shelves stocked year-round, helps fund programs that strengthen families, and reminds people they're not alone.
