Food doesn’t just appear on grocery store shelves. It begins with the dedication of farmers who work tirelessly to bring it to our tables.

Every meal we share is more than just food. It's an opportunity to connect with friends, family, and neighbours while building stronger communities together.

Community is something Chicken Farmers of Saskatchewan know well. Chicken is the #1 protein choice of Saskatchewan consumers, but the 66 registered chicken farmers understand that it takes more than food on your plate to be truly nourished. Care is the most powerful form of nourishment, and the right food choices for families help our neighbours realize their potential. To support this, Chicken Farmers of Saskatchewan have invested $175,000 into the BMO ASAHTOWIKAMIK Community Food Hub.

The Chicken Farmers Protein Section at the Community Food Hub, will serve as a vibrant space for education, food distribution, and community connection. Clients will not only enjoy meals featuring chicken-based ingredients but also leave with recipes and high-quality protein to take home. Regina and area classrooms will have the chance to visit the food hub, gaining valuable insights into nutritional and financial literacy, and discovering the vital role Chicken Farmers and the agricultural industry play in supporting a healthy, sustainable community.

The Chicken Farmers of Saskatchewan are dedicated to supporting our local communities by providing safe, high-quality, locally sourced chicken. Our farmers are committed to ensuring that everyone has access to nutritious, locally-sourced food. As Frank Cuevas, Communications & Producer Programs Manager, puts it, ‘This investment aligns with our mission to nourish families with healthy, nutritious food, and together, we're working toward a healthier community, one meal at a time.’

Did you know that Chicken Farmers of Saskatchewan (CFS) is a farmer-run, non-profit organization representing around 66 registered chicken growers? These farms are family-owned and operated, with many having been passed down through generations, continuing a legacy of hard work and dedication. Since 1966, CFS has played an integral role in Saskatchewan’s thriving poultry sector and has been a proud member of Chicken Farmers of Canada since 1980, supporting our farmers and the communities they serve.

The Regina Food Bank has a goal for 50% of the food we distribute to come from local agricultural partnerships. Our Farm 2 Food Bank initiative builds partnerships with the agriculture industry to source food, funds, and innovation, allowing Saskatchewan to not only feed the world, but our neighbours here at home.

7p777 showed up in a few posts so I poked around out of curiosity, mostly just to get a feel for the layout. I didn’t dive deep into anything, but it was easy to figure out where to click without thinking too hard. The navigation is pretty obvious, and I like how the page doesn’t try to cram everything into one messy wall of text. Stuff is spaced out in a way that makes it quick to skim, which is nice when you’re just casually browsing. Also, the categories feel grouped in a sensible way, so you’re not bouncing around trying to find your place. Overall it just felt calm and readable, and the headings with those separated content blocks…

I've been building a resource list of accessible web tools for a disability support group, and Space Bar Clicker came up as a surprisingly good fit for practicing fine motor control in a low-pressure way. A few members with limited hand mobility use it as a light daily exercise, appreciating that they can pick short durations and stop whenever needed. The straightforward layout helps too, no confusing menus between opening the site and starting a test. Not a substitute for occupational
